Design and Construction
The stainless steel case is the defining design element of the Still de Chaumet — an H-shaped architectural frame in which the upper and lower horizontal bars of the H form the strap attachment points, with the vertical case body rising as a bold rectangular tower between them. This structural approach eliminates traditional lugs entirely, creating a watch whose case reads as a piece of sculpture rather than a conventional timepiece format. The inner rectangular dial frame sits recessed within the polished case, its black dial surface punctuated by 12 round brilliant diamond hour markers arranged around the full perimeter — each diamond prong-set and positioned precisely at the hour positions to ensure legibility is maintained despite the absence of any other dial text or numerals. The "Chaumet Paris" signature at the top of the dial and "Swiss Made" at the bottom complete the dial layout with the clean, confident brand presence that defines this reference.
